The magic of the Winter Sidhe is the magic of death and ice. The death of a new life, gives the inhabitants their magic. The violent destructions of a winter storm is the prime example of Winter Sidhe’s magic in the real world. The magic of Winter is still wild and free, but it is also dark and deadly. The capital city of the Winter Court, Vrine and its surrounding villages are always cloudy with mild sun, snowy and cold. With temperatures never reaching above forty-five degrees. The court is bleakly beautiful and austere, with snow-covered forests full of wild animals and frozen fountains. The city is made up of towering, exquisite ice palaces, full of roaring hearths and decorated in evergreens. Carved sleighs were the nobles and the villagers main method of transport, hauled by reindeer whose splayed hooves were ideal for ice and snow. Their forces are well trained, but the Winter Court often relies on the great, white bears to stalk the realm for any unwanted visitors.
